Failure is not an option. We cannot prevent ourselves from failing. Everyone fails atleast once in their lifetime. It is one of the greatest teacher you could ever ask for. A person is not judged by how much successful he/she is but by their capability of arising from their failures.
Failing is not a crime. It doesn’t matter how many times you fail as long as you keep calm and come out of it. It is better to be faced than feared. Failure is a bruise not a tattoo. So chill, it will heal with time. It may haunt you or scare you to death but that shouldn’t thwart you from learning something new. My mom always says this, if you crave for success then you must also have the strength to fight against the disappointment that comes along.
I’m no saint. Even I’ve had some meltdowns because of frustration. It is absolutely okay so cut yourself some slacks.
Don’t let failure get you. Always have a positive attitude and remember you’re not a loser until or unless you give up. Strive till the end and beyond because life is like a wheel which keeps on turning and fate can change any moment. What is life without some aftermath? Everything cannot be candies and donuts. We need dark chocolates and bitter gourd once in a while. Thus, instead of griping try to take it as a challenge.
Always keep this in mind that success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people to think that they will never lose. Moreover, success is only achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable.
For me high school was not full of happy days. Hell no!
It was different than I had thought it would be. I had no clue what and why I was doing anything. It wasn’t totally horrendous, I’ve had amazing moments too. But there were some days which were completely out of control. The phases which we go through. Don’t get me started with the melodramatic phase where everything seems like a Indian television’s saas bahu serials. Every emotion is heightened and we are not even vampires. I remember of going through I-know-it-all phase and being like, Girl you ain’t know nothing so just get outta my face cos whatever I say is right even if it is absolutely ridiculous and made no sense.
I was not so famous in high school for the first two years. I don’t know what got into me in 11th grade I was the outstanding student.
In middle school the only thing you have to worry about homework. However, in high school it is definitely not our priority. We had to take care of our image, the way we dress up and to be in the limelight. I personally didn’t like the attention that much. Sometimes it is cool but no not all the time. This is lot to take in thus making our lifes a hot mess. Not only that it is also a stage where we actually discover ourselves and prove others, I’m here to stay and nobody can drag me down.
In high school we don’t read books we read minds. We all are basically experts in understanding body language and facial expressions. Long story short high school is not just about finding a path but beyond that. It is not just about passing a test but also about how to be social. So the question remains why is high school stressful? because it indirectly trains us how to survive in the real world.
According to the ”urban dictionary” fandom is defined as the community that surrounds tv shows/movie/books/bands etc. Everyone belongs to some kind of fandom and I’m no different. I fangirl over ONE DIRECTION aka the best boy band ever. Say a word against them then I’ll be your worst nightmare. This is not just me everybody is overprotective about their idol X. So my advice to you is never mess with fangirls.
The people who haven’t indulged themselves with a fandom won’t and will never understand the feeling. So they don’t get to say what is right or wrong. They mistake us for being obsessed. Uhuhuh….we are not obsessed we are dedicated! Being in a fandom is not easy it has its perks. For instance being a directioner is like riding a rollercoaster without knowing when the clothoid loop comes. Anything can happen anytime. We are not stalkers. It is just that we love them so we wanna know about their life which is absolutely normal. I don’t care what the stats say but Directioners forms the biggest fan base ever. Others are also cool too but there’s only one ruler. This clearly states how much fandom can change the face of the earth. They can even destroy one’s career. I don’t need to say anymore the past says it all…..!!!
There are countless number of people who do not have an opinion and spend their entire life pleasing others. Even, I was one of them. I’d always keep others before me and try to impress to make them see me. In that process, I completely lost my own personality. I had no idea who I had become. I couldn’t recognise myself. It was devastating. Nothing felt right. But one day out of the blue I realised something,”hey I don’t need to satisfy others. All I’ve got to do is to do the best of my capabilities and not compare myself with others. Most importantly, pleasing others won’t get me anywhere but my talent will “.
I’m not saying that I’m completely over it but the struggle of getting past it is on high speed and is real. The struggle includes watching lots of motivational videos on YouTube, looking into mirror and saying you’re worth it and etc.Though it sounds cliche but trust me it works. Over the years I’ve also realised that, ” Someone will always be prettier. Someone will always be smarter so all you need to do is to stop whining and BE YOU “.
You will also come across some people who will make you feel inferior. The mantra that I use, so that it won’t impact my life is to not care. I think that those people are clearly going through some problems which they don’t wanna talk about and remove the frustration in the form of bullying. These things shouldn’t stop you from showing the world what you’re capable of. That being said nobody is perfect. Even, I have my days but the thing is we need to come out of it and do something to improvise ourselves.
Also, ” Nobody can be the best of you only you can. So try to excel in whatever you do and ignore the haters cos the HATERS ARE GONNA HATE!
